Patty Born, associate professor of education, contributed to the “Guidelines for Excellence in Educator Knowledge and Skills,”published by the North American Association for Environmental Education, the major professional organization for the discipline. The guidelines outlined best practices for preparing and developing educators in classrooms and non-formal settings to teach environmental content and issues.
