Voyles Publishes on Mental Health and Gay Games

Casper Voyles, assistant professor of public health in the Department of Social Justice and Social Change, recently published an article in International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. The article, 鈥淢easuring the Association Between Sports and Mental Health Among Mexican LGBTQ People: Psychological Distress Among Athletes, Spectators/Volunteers, and Non-Attendees During the 2023 Gay Games,鈥 describes the association between psychological distress and participation in the 2023 Gay Games in Guadalajara.

Schramm Leads Workshop on Language

Andreas Schramm, Professor Emeritus in the 狼友社区 School of Education and Leadership, led a workshop for over 50 professionals at the Minnesota Literacy Action Network's summer institute. The workshop, intended for Adult Basic Education (ABE) teachers and administrators, focused on components of the English language.
