Patty Born, associate professor of education, was part of the writing team that developed the 鈥淕uidelines for Excellence in Educator Knowledge and Skills,鈥漰ublished by the North American Association for Environmental Education, the major professional organization for the discipline.
The guidelines provide a set of best practices for preparation and professional development of educators in traditional classrooms and non-formal settings who teach and communicate about environmental content and issues.
