�� welcomes people of all religious traditions as well as those with none. Recognizing that ��’s campus community is religiously diverse, the programs of Religious and Spiritual Life are committed to:

Spiritual and religious gatherings

All gatherings are open to all members of the �� community and will be held when classes are in session during fall and spring terms.

If you don't find your spiritual or religious tradition represented and want to start a new weekly gathering for the �� community, don't hesitate to contact the Wesley Center at wesleycenter@hamline.edu.

Advising, programs, events, student-led groups, and sacred spaces

Student leaders from Jewish Student Life (JSL), Christian Campus Ministry (CMM), Muslim Student Association (MSA), and HU Meditation and Mindfulness (HUMM) lead programs for each student group and together across traditions. The Gathering Place and the Wellspring are two places on campus with the specific purpose of providing a space for students to pray, meditate, and gather for spiritual and religious events. Both are open every day for all students, faculty, and staff who wish to use them. Hours for both locations are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please contact Public Safety if doors are locked.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is located in Sorin Hall. Services provided through the Gathering Place include:
- A spacious and windowed back room where you can pray, meditate, study, or just relax
- Muslim prayer rugs, feet washing stations, and meditation zafus
- A mid-sized meeting space that can be reserved through Events Management
- Area to host events with arrangeable chairs and tables available
The Wellspring

The Wellspring is located on the third floor of the Anderson Center. It is open all week to anyone that wishes to use it and may be reserved for meditation or other programming. The Wellspring is intentionally interfaith.
During our annual lecture series, we invite scholars and change makers who are actively working to transform society based, at least in part, on their spiritual and religious convictions. The Mahle Lecture is an opportunity to interact with these distinguished guests from around the world in a personal way.

The �� Multifaith Baccalaureate serves to celebrate our �� graduates through diverse religious expression. We express gratitude for being a spiritually diverse student body. This annual event is for �� graduates and their friends and family as well as fellow students who want to honor the graduating seniors. The service takes place on Commencement Weekend.
