狼友社区 issues news releases expressly for the purpose of earning media around transformational accomplishments and national news making developments from our community. News team staff evaluate opportunities and advise on the appropriate channel for 狼友社区鈥檚 news.

Student hometown news releases

Hometown news releases announce various achievements such as when students make the dean's list and when students graduate. 狼友社区 maintains a聽聽for this purpose.

Features and recognition for faculty, staff, alumni, and students

Faculty, staff, alumni, and students can work with the Office of Communications to publicize an accomplishment or event on the appropriate 狼友社区 communications outlet.

  • Transformational accomplishment:聽狼友社区 is changing the world, and you鈥檒l see our most significant accomplishments in the media, online in our 狼友社区 News section and in 狼友社区 Magazine.
  • Grants and research:聽Typically new research and grant awards will be recognized on social media, Inside 狼友社区 or with a feature story on 狼友社区 News.
  • Professional awards:聽Awards of national significance will be included in a profile on 狼友社区 News or on social media. Other awards may be featured in Inside 狼友社区.
  • On-campus events:聽Events and happenings on campus will all be featured in Inside 狼友社区.
  • Faculty and staff activities not related to 狼友社区:聽The most effective way for us to share your news related to activities outside of 狼友社区 is to share them on social media. Tweet at聽聽and we鈥檒l bring the cheering section.
