As a technical theatre educator, K is committed to using theatre as a powerful community engagement and personal development tool. They believe in the transformative power of storytelling and strive to create educational experiences that teach technical skills and inspire students to appreciate the broader impact of theatre on society. K also strives to inspire their students to be creative problem-solvers and to develop a strong work ethic. K holds an MFA in scene design from Illinois State University and a Bachelor's in Theatre Design from Frostburg State University. They have worked in theatre from the mountains of West Virginia to the vineyards of California and many places in between. Recent work in the Twin Cities includes production managing Teatro Del Pueblo's world premiere production of Love in a Time of Hate and scene designing Escape to Margaritaville in St. Cloud with GREAT Theatre.
